Featured page front page content not translating

    I’m trying to produce this site in english and french using Customizr free version. I have WPML installed and working normally, AFAIK. The pages that the features point to are translated. But the front page feature titles, blurbs button text don’t translate.

    If I chose french or english from the admin menu, changes made to that text appear on both english and french home pages.

    What am I missing?

  • Hi there cmkl,
    those custom texts can be translated with WPML Multilingual CMS plugin and its WPML String Translation addon.
    Once both are installed from your dashboard -> WPML -> String Translation
    you can select the domain: “customizr-option” where you can translate both the Featured button text and the Featured texts.

    Hi Rocco. Thanks for that. I’m two thirds of the way there. Your instructions work for the custom blurbs and the button text. But the page titles still appear in english despite the fact that they have have french translations. I can’t choose the french page in the customizer, no matter whether I’ve chosen french or english from the language switcher.

    Is there some other WPML setting I need to change so that the french page titles appear? This is how it looks now.

    you’re right.

    This needs to be addressed for the modern style.

    It will be fixed in the next theme release.

    I just updated to the Customizr free version 4.0.9 and the problem is resovled, as you said it would be.
