• I have a page called “Blog”.
In wordpress I have said that I want that page to be the default page to display all my posts/blog content.

I have added a “Featured Image” to that page.

On the homepage I have created 3 Genesis Featured Pages.
    1.) About
    2.) FAQ
    3.) Blog

    This issue is with #3.

As long as that page is configured to be the static page for posts it only shows the latest Title and then the latest blog posts. It doesn’t show the “featured image” like all the other pages. “show page content” is NOT selected.

I told the widget to only show the title of the “Genesis Featured Page” and the page “Featured Image”.

Is there a way so that I can have the #3 look like widgets #1 & #2?

    Hi jheinrichs79,

When you have a static page that is set to be your “Blog” page, it is not longer a basic static page. While it is still a “page” in your admin, it now has a loop that displays all your posts. When this happens, the featured image of the page defaults to the latest posts thumbnail image.

However, you can easily circumvent this issue. In this case you will just need to use the custom image option and custom page title option. Make sure you have the latest version of the plugin as I added the custom page title recently.

Let me know if this works for you.

    Nick
