Featured imasges are badly blurred

    Hi

    In the last 3-4 days, the images being pulled in as the Featured Images are very blurry.
    When compared to the actual source images, its is an huge difference.

    If I download the original image and replace the stored featured image, it keeps it sharpness, etc..so it seems it is something with the initial grab.

    I had not made any changes to the plugin until tonite when i tried to change the layout to show fewer images.

    If I delete mycurator and then re-install it will I lose anything?

    any other suggestions?

    It could be because of an image compression plugin, or option on your theme? On your email I’ve asked for some links to the articles with blurry images to test them on our test sites. Reinstalling MyCurator won’t lose any data or options.

    When MyCurator grabs a very small image (like a profile picture) and then your theme expands it to a large size, it becomes blurry. I’ve seen it before periodically on my test sites. Small images have many fewer pixels so when expanded, they look blurry as they aren’t ‘dense’ with pixels any more.
