Featured Images will not hide on homepage

I cannot get the featured images to hide from my posts on my homepage feed. When you visit the individual post the featured image is hiding, but when you go to the site’s homepage the image will not hide. I searched and searched and have tried to add several different codes into my CSS but cannot get the featured image to hide! I appreciate any insight you can provide to help me resolve this problem.
