Featured images of pages used as sections are not 100% width of vieport

  • Hello,
    I’ve a general question on tewenty seventeen.
    Is it normal that the featured image of a page used as a section in p.e. the Mainpage are set to content width not to viewport width.
    I ask this because I thought with the parallax effect “on” the featured image of pages normaly shown 100% on the page itself also shown in 100% of page/viewport on the page that has included the it as a section.

    Do I somethin wrong in the settings?
