Featured images not showing caption

How the featured image (and its data) is used is entirely up to the theme.

So the only solution is to either change my theme or edit the code of the theme? Wish I knew more about coding. Are there any other ways I could do something about this to avoid copyright violation? If it weren’t for copyright laws, I wouldn’t care.

Or you could do what most of us who don’t know how to code do: use a plugin.

(Note: I found these with a quick search for “featured image caption” on the plugins page. No personal experience with either plugin)
