Featured Images inconsistency

    there’s a bit of inconsistency in the behaviour for featured images in posts and pages.

    Featured images in posts appear in the list of posts, but not at the beginning of the post itself.

    Featured images in pages appear at the beginning of the page, but not in lists, e.g. when you search for a term and get the list with search results, if a page is included, it has no thumb image.

    Can you please correct this behaviour? IMHO featured images should appear in both lists and at the beginning of a post/page.

  • Hello! As a fellow Hueman user, if I understand your point correctly, then you *can* get the featured image to show at the top of a post – under the ‘Format’ menu on the right-hand side of the ‘Edit post’ page, you just need to select ‘Image’ instead of ‘Standard’.

    On the other point, I agree – I’d also like pages to show the featured image in the search results in the same way that posts already do, but I’m yet to figure out a way to make that happen ??
