    Hello,

    Super-basic question.

Can I display images from a feed using the free version of WP RSS Aggregator?

I have just installed the free version of WP RSS Aggregator.

Does this version have an option to display the featured image associated with an RSS feed from another WordPress site?

I want to pull in articles from another WordPress site and I want to display the featured images, if possible.

Is image display functionality only available with a paid version?

  • Hi @commontater if the RSS feed contains the image, the plugin should be able to import and display the featured image.

I originally posted this question, and I didn’t get a satisfactory answer. Looks like you answered another user’s question offline.

My question was that even though the plugin was supposed to show featured images, I was not seeing images from a feed that did have images. The feed displayed with images when I used a different RSS plugin (looking to switch away from my old plugin to WP RSS Aggregator).

Is there a setting in WP RSS Aggregator that determines whether images are shown? Can you point me to that please?

    Many thanks.

@commontater if the feed contains an image and it’s correctly imported as a featured image. You’ll need the Templates add-on to display the images on the frontend as the free version is limited to the list display. Once installed and activated, please select the grid template to show the featured image on the front end.
