Featured images don't appear below Header image on Child Theme

Hi,

I used to have a Parent Theme which had 3 featured images from my 3 key pages underneath the front page header. I created a Child Theme and when I activated it, these 3 featured images disappeared. I had a look at the Child Theme’s Options (Appearance > Theme Options > Front Page > Display Featured Pages) and this box is ticked. The only thing is that the left, centre and right feature columns’ drop down menus are empty (so are they in the Parent Theme) and I can’t remember how I set them up initially? Anyone can suggest a solution, please?
