Featured images disappear from the snipppet

    Hi,

    every item in my store has a featured image, but there is a problem: when I add a featured image to my post, it appears in the snippet (also the meta description), so everything is well. After I save the post, the image gets suddenly removed from the snippet (but stays in the post itself and is shown correctly on the website). It happens to every post. Also, the Google search results do not display the featured image (the main problem as a result).

    I’ve run my pages through the Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool and everything is good, the image is there (but not shown in the search).

    We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. We totally understand how that could be frustrating for you! Let’s get down to the bottom of what’s going on here.

    Image thumbnail disappears from the Yoast SEO snippet preview after updating the post
    To investigate the issue further, we’ll need more information. Can you please share the relevant screenshots (before/after) or a quick screen recording of the relevant issue so that we can understand it better? How to include screenshots or videos?

    In addition, can you please confirm whether you see any javascript errors in the browser console? How to find Javascript errors in the browser console?

    Google Structured Data Testing tool shows the image thumbnail fine but not in the search results
    Adding an image in the post doesn’t guarantee that it will appear in the Google search results even though the relevant image appears in the Google Structured Data Testing Tool as expected. Google decides when to show an image and for what search terms. We are unable to confirm when exactly the relevant image will appear in the search results for the relevant page.

    Here is a list of additional information that may be helpful while we investigate this issue:
    1. Have you performed a?conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    2. Does the issue occur when using?a default theme?with only Yoast plugins active?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current version of WordPress?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current version of the Yoast plugins?
    5. Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, such as posts, products, categories, etc?
    6. Does the browser show?JavaScript errors in your browser’s console??If so, please send us screenshots of the error.
