Featured images are not appearing properly! cropped

  • I am using the Hueman theme, but having real issues with the sizing of the Featured Images. They are not appearing properly – they keep being cropped up no matter how smaller I make the images. Please help.

  • I am having the same troubles now with my Hueman theme that I just updated my WP to 4.1. Any new featured images I have are not viewing properly. All my old posts are fine.

    Hi sobiyan. Just checked your site but not seeing the problem with Featured Images that you’re describing. Is this in the slider on the home page? Or on individual post pages?

    I just regenerate the thumbnails.

    Actually, I want to modify the size of featured image, not so happy with current ratio, my previous featured image size 800 x 532px. How to customize the featured image size? Anyone can share it?

    Hi All. The featured image size varies depending on the width of your site and the number of sidebars. In addition to the three default WP thumbnail sizes, the theme adds four custom sizes and uses a “hard crop” to create the thumbnails. You can override the size and cropping using the process described in this thread. And this article gives an excellent description of adding custom thumbnail sizes and the different cropping options.
