Featured image works for blogger syndicated sites but not wordpress.com blog

For some reason my featured images work find for syndication blogs from blogger.com but when i try to syndicate from a wordpress.com blog no featured images show up.

Also…question marks (?) show up in random places for blogger.com blogs but not wordpress.com blogs…

I also get a weird “add a comment link” with social media outlined boxes for wordpress.com posts embedded into my syndicated posts…like this…
