Featured image won't appear on home page

    I insert an image into the home page, either by using the Featured Image option or the Media insert option. Then I preview the page, by hitting either the Page Preview or the View Page button, and I see that the image has been beautifully inserted onto the home page. So I hit the Update button to save the change. But THEN, when I actually visit the page, the image is nowhere to be seen.

    I’ve tried logging off of the site and then back on again, but no joy. I’ve also tried using a different browser (Chrome vs IE).

    Thanks so much for your reply. However, I ended up giving up on the Writr them and have gone to another theme that is working better for me.

    No problem – glad you found a theme that works well for you!

    Got the same problem on the localhost. Featured images are not showing!

    MutebiRoy – I just tested adding a featured image to a post with the Standard Post format, and the image displays correctly both on the single post and blog index page.

    Could you please let me know:

    1. Your version of Writr
    2. Your version of WordPress
    3. Do you get the same behaviour if you deactivate all plugins?
    4. Are you testing with the Standard Post format or some other post format, and if so, which?

    Thanks beautiful @kathryn! Had already figured it out and about to let you guys know. All my photos had “image” format and working well in all the other formats. Changing to standard make it work…
