Featured Image vs Mobile Featured Image

I am using this plug in to show a different featured image on mobile devices. However, when I place an image in the featured mobile slot it shows the mobile picture on the desktop version of the site no matter the screen size instead of the regular featured image. I am also using wptouch for mobile rendering.
