Thanks for the swift reply. I read that link already, I think you misunderstood me. I’m not looking to disable featured images at all. I’m just looking to disable the one that shows on the beneath the header.

Hi Faisal,

this will not disable all featured images, so they will still be shown in the widgets and on archives.

If you follow the instructions in the above mentioned thread, you will only remove the featured image which is displayed beneath the header on single posts.
