Featured image slider by catch themes

  • I downloaded the free version of catch . I watched the video by tyler moore, on utube how to make a blog step by step for beginners, and basically have come into problems having started to copy this site featured on utube.

    the download does not have a featured slider, and thats where my head ache begins.
    Is there anyone out there who can offer a solution, without upgrading to the pro version. I am very new to wordpress so not that familair getting around different plugs in etc, and i need actual videos to help me
    I really apprecaite any comments and assistance.

    the video is by tyler moore step by step blog. So have i downloaded the wrong thing. installed simple catch. is this the coorect one?
