    Hi,

I’m trying to choose a high-quality image bigger than 12 megapixels for my posts featured images. But I think that my images don’t compress well enough by Optimal. Is this because of the high-size of the original images? Should I choose smaller images as featured? I just wrote a random link but have this problem for all posts.

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

I don’t see the images being optimised on that page, did you whitelist the domains from which those images are being served, as I see that you serve images from other domains than the one used by your website.

Also is the retina option enabled inside Optimole?

    Let us know, thank you!

    Hi,

Actually, I didn’t whitelist any links. I’m using Siteground and CDN, am still need to whitelist their URLs? Also, I enabled the retina option.

Is there anything I need to do?

    Thanks!

    Hello,
You have an s3 domain from where you are serving the images, you should whitelist that inside https://dashboard.optimole.com. Afterwards refresh the stats inside the Optimole plugin to make sure everything is in sync. Clear the cache from any caching plugins and regenerate any CSS if required.

Images should then also start to process for other domains that are whitelisted.
