Featured Image Size

  • Hi. When I add a featured image to a post, it does appear on the homepage with the leading text. But it is too large. I am using WordPress.com. I have tried down sizing the pixels physically but it still comes in at the same over size. Could you tell me a way to get a thumbnail or smaller size featured image to appear with the post link on the home page? THanks. John

    the size of the featured image is controlled by your theme, it might be adjusted slightly with some custom CSS. What’s the address of your site?

    My site is jjdiii.wordpress.com not a paid plan. I think this prevents me from adding custom css.

    Ah yes, you would need at least plan Premium to add custom CSS. If you’re not looking to upgrade, I’d suggest looking for other themes that you like more ??
