Featured Image showing up only sometimes

  • Is there a way to not have the featured image show up in the post?

    I usually just insert the picture I want right into the post, but I also want to apply a featured image for the related posts section and for a video thumbnail on my facebook post function.

    Does anyone know how to not have the featured image show up in the post?
