Featured Image Set With Broken Image File

I’m using Video Thumbnails in combination with Automatic Video Posts Pro. The video appears to import correctly and most of the time the thumbnail show up as well. However, the featured image is set to a broken image file (an image with 0 kb as the size). It is a real file (or at least seems to be) and can be found in the media library, but it’s not the thumbnail from the actual video, it’s a file that isn’t actually an image with (generally named the unique YouTube video identifier + .jpg). Just started having this issue recently, have been manually deleting that image and attaching the thumbnail as the featured image but would be great if it’s just a setting or something I have to change to get it to work.
Live From The Path is the website. The front page is fine because I’m manually changing the images but if you click on any post and look at the related posts or category posts, the farther back you go the more you’ll see the broken images.
