    Hello,
I have a responsive issue with the featured image of a full width cover template page.
On big screens, the image is full but on mobile and tablets the left and right parts of the image are deleted.
Can I choose the focal point of the image for mobile (as for background image ?) ?
    Thank you for your help,
    Charlotte

    Hi @charlotte2209,

When using the Cover Template, the featured image is always scaled to fill the entire viewport. That means that on some screens, parts of the image will be cropped when it’s scaled up to fill the viewport. For example, if a image taken in landscape orientation (4:3) is scaled up to fill a mobile phone in portrait mode, the sides of the image will be cropped when the image is scaled up.

I’m afraid this is a inherent limitation of the Cover Template. If you want the image to be shown in a set aspect ratio, so all of the image is always visible, I’d recommend you to use a different page template.

    Hi Anders,
Thank you for your answer. I understand that the image has to be cropped.
But is it possible to choose which side is cropped ? For example only the right part of the image is cropped.

    Hi @charlotte2209,

Unfortunately not. It always crops to the center of the image, so your best bet is to make sure your subject is in the center.
