Featured Image Resizing
-
Hi! I am using Posts for Page v2.1, and here is my shortcode:
[posts-for-page order_by=”date” order=”DESC” num=”10″ use_wp_excerpt=”true” read_more=” ?” hide_post_title=”false”]
I am having trouble displaying images in the thumbnail. Some images I want to display are rectangular, and although I have WP set to not force the thumbnail to be square in the Settings | Media, they keep displaying that way. I unchecked ‘Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)’, although it still has 150 x 150.
When I upload the image, it looks rectangular as it should & the dimensions are 150 x 88, but not when I insert it into the Featured Image. The Featured Image enlarges the image & takes the middle of it, cropping the rest off.
This may not have anything to do with the plug-in, but I was wondering if you have any suggestions or if there is a setting/customization in the plugin that might help? I tried both force_image_width=”150″ & force_image_height=”150″ (not at the same time), but it didn’t seem to help.
Thanks!
