Featured Image Question(s)

Hello,

How would I go about reducing the size of the featured image on a post? Whenever a visitor clicks on a posting, they have to scroll down before they see anything. The Image literally overpowers the screen. See Example: https://bit.ly/2dUVspF

The size on the image that I am currently using to test this is: 257×196.

My next question is regarding the alignment of said image. Whenever a customer views a post under Category Archive, the image shows up in the center of the page, while the text content is left aligned. How can I go about left aligning the image? See Example: https://bit.ly/2dPPGdS

I’ve tried selecting the image under the Media Library to see if there was any way that we could possibly change the alignment or size with no luck.
