    Hi @backofficeitalia

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!

Would you mind taking a screenshot of what that featured image area looks like on your events so that I can take a look?

Can you try a quick test and see if the functionality works as expected with a bare WordPress install? A bare install is basically a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty and no other plugins besides ours installed. You may want to consider trying this out on a staging site so that you don’t have to switch things around on your live site.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

    Hi @backofficeitalia

    Thanks for your response.

What do you see if you use the Featured Image section in the right sidebar of your Add Event page?

Are you able to add a featured image that way?

    Thanks,
    Jaime

    Hi @backofficeitalia

Thanks for your response. I’d like to help you get to the bottom of this.

Are you using a featured image plugin that is part of this process?

As a first step, can you try a quick test and see if the functionality works as expected with a bare WordPress install? A bare install is basically a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty and no other plugins besides ours installed. You may want to consider trying this out on a staging site so that you don’t have to switch things around on your live site.

    Hi,
the problem was the plugin “Essential grid”. But i can’t find the plugin/theme that block me in the “Customize” section. I can’t view the section because error:

    Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.

If i deactive The events calendar it works fine.

    Best regards

    Hi @backofficeitalia

I’m glad to hear that you’ve been able to find the source of the issue related to the Featured Image issue.

As for the “Customize” section, can you take a screenshot of the area you are referring to?

Do you have some kind of permissions plugin installed on your site? When you are logged in as an admin, do you experience this issue?

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

    Hi @backofficeitalia

Thanks for providing me with that information.

Do you see this issue with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty and just The Events Calendar plugin installed (no other plugins)?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

if I disable only plugins the problems is still there.
If I disable, plugin and theme it works fine.

    Hi @backofficeitalia

I’m glad to hear that you have gotten to the bottom of this one.

Since this is actually an issue with your theme and not our plugin, I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see if they have some suggestions for how to resolve this issue.

    Have a great weekend!

    Thanks,
    Jaime
