Featured Image & post format

  • 1) As my post is video format i don’t want the featured image to appear on top of the post.I want it to only display it on the front page and not the post page.

    2) Post formats are also not provided in the side panel

    I am sorry to say but both features you are looking for is not in the theme.
    for point number 1 it is needed advanced customization for point number 2 you can add following custom CSS on Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS 

    .single .post-thumb, .single .entry-header {
    display: none;
}

    According to your requirements I would like to suggest you CosmosWP theme.

    even after adding the code to additional CSS i amn’t able to see the post formats on the panel.Can u pls provide me an alternative solution?

    I did not have provided solution regarding post format on the previous reply since it needs an advanced level of customization.
    I can suggest you post formats plugin but you have to try them yourself ??
