Featured Image on Single Event Page Twice

    Hello, I’ve seen in two other The Events Calendar threads that Featured Images show up twice in a single event post. I’m having the same problem. I tried deactivating all of my plugins and reactivating only The Events Calendar but that did not help.

    The Featured Image block shows up in the site editor list and it displays correctly in its place. Nothing looks out of sorts:

    But when loading the page live, it looks like this:

    Hi there,

    I took a look at the page, and it looks like you may have found a solution or workaround to this. I currently only see one logo just below the title. Do you still need help with this?

    Hi Gladys, thanks so much for the response! I stumbled upon the Template editor (pictured below) and I was able to find the Featured Image as part of the Default Template. I deleted it and now it’s working – but I have a suspicion that the Events post will have the Featured Image and future blog posts will not. So maybe I need to make an Events-specific template? Does the The Events Calendar plug-in not create its own template and apply it to Events posts?

    Yes, The Events Calendar provides its own WordPress page template to display an event post. We also have a setting allows you to change that default template to any other page template used by your theme.

    We also have our templating system, which you can use to create template overrides to customize the layout of the events page.
