Featured image of posts not showing in caterories

    Hello.
    for the first time I decided to completely strip and theme and redesign almost from scratch. Just added the feature image functionality to my page but now I have a problem. It is displaying properly on my “home page” and on the post page, but when I go to the category the posts are part of, my feature image disappears.
    How do I control the appearance of the categories?
    I need that since I will use “home” as a static page and want to show my posts only through a category menu on the side.

    you can control the appearance of category page in category.php
