Featured image not used when sharing post

Hi Rick! I think a plugin would help you the best here. I did a quick googling for “Open Graph” for facebook shares, and here is one plugin:

Or you could probably use other SEO plugins like Yoast.

I’m not 100% sure it will work with the integrated share buttons that comes with the theme, but give it a try. Otherwise you can disable the buttons in Theme Extensions > Social Share > Off and then use a plugin that works better with it.

I will go and check that out, I would not want to disable the buttons really, as it is ( in my view) nicely integrated with the theme.
It’s just that when I tried sharing from the Demo page (https://demo.alx.media/x/?theme=Blogstream) the images did come up in the Facebook Sharer site already. Am I to assume then that the Demo page is in fact a fuller version than the package we can download?

It’s the same theme used by the demo site, so no changes there.
