Featured image not updating

  • Hi, my issue is that if I post the link to my website in Linkedin a old thumbnail is shown. I’ve tried to do what I could find online:
    – I deleted the old picture from the media library
    – I’ve selected a featured image in wordpress
    – I’ve renamed the new featured image in wordpress

    I don’t find anywhere what else I could do. I’m using wordpress in combination with elementor pro.

    I would really appreciate if anyone has any idea.

    I also checked other plugins such as YOAST SEO, but those only allow to set featured images for twitter and facebook, but not linkedin.
