Featured image not showing on pages

  • A couple of questions about feature images:

    1. I’ve been adding a few pages to my website & have added featured pictures to a couple of them, but they are not appearing when I refresh the saved pages.

    2. I’ve set a featured image for the homepage; is there a way I can set it to appear on any page I create unless I add a specific featured picture for that page?

    The link shows a page that has a featured picture uploaded but is not showing on the page.

    In OceanWP theme, there is no option to set featured images for the pages. You can display featured image for posts but not for the pages in the theme.

    Ah, ok.

    Next question then; can I set it so the main header images appears on each page I use, either all, or just by selecting each one?

    If not, I used a plugin called Unique Headers with a previous them, perhaps I could try using that, unless you feel it may not work in this instance?

    Can you let me know your thoughts.

    To set the same image for all the pages – go to Customize > General Options > Page Title and select background Image from the Style dropdown. Now upload a page header image.

    For the post/page specific page header image, edit a post/page > OceanWP settings metabox > Title tab and select Background image from the Style dropdown and upload an image.
