Featured image not showing after upload new image

    I have created a blog using Twenty Seventeen Theme. I created child theme and installed wordpress on Microsoft Windows R2 Production Server. Theme includes by default some media images. I am unable to see new featured images that i upload to any post but already images comes with theme are showing without any error.when i check image url then its the same as for already included with theme. Problem with only any new images that i upload. i am trying to fix since last 1 week. please help me.

    Follow the given below steps to debug the error:-

    1- Are you able to display newly uploaded images at Admin > Media?

    2- Are you getting any error message while inserting image in post/page content through the wordpress editor?

    3- Check the browser error log by pressing F12 key > Console tab in Firefox.

    4- Please make sure that you are using the latest version of wordpress, themes and plugins.

    5- Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    6- If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    7- Check the server error log to know the error detail of this issue.

    Actually, I have created child theme and enabled child theme. I made css changes in child style-sheet. What if i Update to latest version of word press.Will it make changes to my Website or not? Please reply ASAP.

    Hi,
    On localhost i updated my website same by taking backup and restore through UPdraftPlus and working fine and not affecting any post. If i upload new featured image that also working fine. but on my live website its still problem. I tried to update WordPress but already updated 4.7.3. It says to reinstall. But can i reinstall without affecting website. Please guide me i am not able to solve the problem.
