    Hi,

My featured images on posts do not show with Jetpack. When I disable site accelerators or you call it CDN, the featured image will appear. However, some other images disappear. I am very frustrated. Any support?
    Thanks

    Hi @bextiyart

What security and caching plugins are you using? Something is preventing access to the CDN images. When I tried to cURL the address of several they returned HTTP/2 403.

Can you clear any caches you have in place and check your security settings to see what might be blocking the image CDN?

I use Wordfence for security and WP Rocket for the cache.

If you temporarily pause those plugins, does the CDN work?

    tried both. Nothing has changed.

    Hi @bextiyart

I’ve taken a gimpse into that specific image, and noticed it wasn’t even loading on the original URL on your site, as you can see here.

It’s currently returning a blank page, so our CDN isn’t able to access that image to be able to fetch it and cache it.

As my colleague Bruce mentioned, I’d suggest looking into any security or caching plugin that may be causing that behavior, or reaching out to your host so they can look further if there’s anything involving that, such as Hotlink protection.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi Mehdi,

I did not get what you mean. The link you sent to me actually loads both on my website and on the link you sent me. I have tried deactivating Jetpack and all images have got back to normal. But I wanted to keep Jetpack. Any idea?

    Hi there,

That’s the direct image link from your server that Mehdi mentioned in the last reply. It appears there is a cache issue and that’s why the image is loading for you but not for us.

And from what you mentioned I think there is some kind of plugin feature conflict here. It could be a cache plugin you may have installed.

The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict. I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:

Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache. Then try loading image again. If it works, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You can re-enable your plugins one by one, trying loading image in between, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin developer for a fix.

If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme. Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like Twenty-Twenty. Then try loading image again. If it works, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.

Let us know what you find!
