Featured image not hidding

Hi there,
I have featured images that are showing up at the top of my pages. I have just made my header larger and its now covered on desktop but on mobile it is still there and I cant fix it. I installed hide featured image plugin and it hasn’t changed anything.
How can I get rid of featured images on my pages.
