Featured image not displaying as a featured image

Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your featured images.

I don’t see any problems with the featured images displaying on my test site. I’m guessing this may be related to your theme.

If you have a staging site, I would try temporarily switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme and disabling all other plugins to see if you can reproduce this under those circumstances. If not, re-enable everything one at a time until the issue returns to find the culprit.

If it is your theme, you may need to create a custom page template to get what you’re going after.

Thank you very much for your response Sky, I greatly appreciate it! I will dig deeper into this, I wasn’t sure if there might have been a problem happening with it that might have been affecting others. But I appreciate your response once again!

My apologies, yes, it turns out the theme I am using had a special option to allow for this ‘extra’ featured image and all I needed to do is to turn it off.

I am sorry for not updating this ticket/string, but this can be closed now.
