Featured Image not being set

The “Set as Featured Image” link is not working in my case. I just tried pasting different youtube video urls in the Edit Posts “Featured Video” block. The video is displayed, but the featured image is not automatically generated. Even if we click on the “Set as Featured Image” nothing happens.
