Featured Image not appearing twenty eleven theme

  • I’m working on a locally hosted child theme of twenty-eleven; when post format is set to “gallery” the selected featured image doesn’t appear next to the post excerpt. When using other post formats (standard, etc) the featured image DOES appear. Can anyone tell me how I would fix this?

  • showing the ‘featured image’ is not part of the default Twenty Eleven theme;

    have you checked that content-gallery.php has the same code added for a thumbnail, as for instance might have been done in content.php ?
