Featured Image issue

I am having an issue with the featured image getting truncated on the single post page.

I am using the Pro version

I have the featured category slider widget loading in the front page top full width area and when I click on a image on it it takes me to a single post page (don’t have a choice on where it lands from what I see). The image on the page is cropped from 1920×1080 down to 800×445. I need it to be 1920×1080 or better. I tried several things but nothing has worked. I am a amateur photographer trying to use this to display photos until I go to a more professional service.
