  • From the post’s source, there are only 3 twitter card meta tags,
    <meta name=”twitter:card” content=”summary_large_image”>
    <meta name=”twitter:creator” content=”@AksalserNews”>
    <meta name=”twitter:site” content=”@AksalserNews”>
    There is no image url or twitter:image meta.
    Please check your twitter card settings and add image field to it.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for the fast reply. As per Twitter and Yaost SEO, Twitter will get the
    <meta property="og:image" ...

    if it is defined, which I have in place. So do I have to install a new plugin just for the twitter image although the image is defined in the much wider used Open Graph tags?

    You don’t need to install any new plugin for meta tags.
    Even though there is twitter card created for your post, the post we have checked ,was missing the twitter:image tag.
    So please check why the existing plugin do not generate a twitter:image for the post.
    Twitter will first check for twitter card,if your post do not have twitter:image but have og:image then set only og meta tags.
    Then check the post url at https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
    Hope this helps.
