Featured Image in Homepage, Recent Posts & Related Posts

Tell us the ways of customization. Personally I don’t want to use the plugin. Because there are so many bad reviews about this plugin. So, please describe the ways of customization and using methods of images from another source as featured images. Thank you!

When using the Theme ad widget 125×125 I get the ads but also scattered code on the site. It doesn’t look good. If I use a Text widget and paste the code, it’s fine. The ad widget seems to have a conflict. Thanks.

Hi, are you trying to add some kind of other codes in Ad widget like Adsense? It will work only if you have image and direct link, like for affiliate.

For Adsense like ads you need to use Text widgets only.

Hey, thanks for the super quick response. I guess, I am not the only one up at 4 am….
I am actually using the affiliate 125×125 standard link from mythemeshop:-) and no matter how I set it up in the widget, it always leaves stray code behind. I like how two ads can stand side by side, but even if I try just one ad, it’s scrambled.
It works, if its just inserted in a text widget.

So just installed the POINT theme and am trying to do away with the “latest” comments section on the home page, where would i do that at. Also, would like to change the background color of the content area.I have the background i want for the website. I am not familiar with code of CSS or anything.. So some instruction would be great
