Featured Image – howto choose size?

  • Hi there.

    My theme uses ‘featured images’. Setting the featured image in the WP media library does not give any option about the size of the image. It chooses automatically the biggest resolution.
    There seems to be no way to follow your advice: DO NOT USE THE WORDPRESS “FULL SIZE” IMAGE DIRECTLY, EVER.

    Is there any known solution / work around to this?

    I don’t think so. Featured image is linked to a specific media size. It should be fine, except if your theme is really doing wrong. The best thing is to try, and check what image is really used.
