    Hi,
    thank you for her great Plugin. It makes my life better!
    But I miss an option to remove the grey veil, or grey Gradient, or Grey overlay, You see at blog posts featured Images. I hope you understand.
    Please have a look at this post and see the difference.
    Do you think it is possible to supplement such an option. That would make my life much better!!

    Kind regards
    Uwe

    Hello Uwe,

    Glad you like the plugin! Can you please try this CSS in “Customiser – Additional CSS” …

    .post-thumbnail:after, .single-featured-image-header:after {
    background: none;
    }

    Let me know if this works please.

    Thanks,

    Oliver

    Thanks Uwe, glad it worked. We think this is happening because you have selected to inject Image Captions in your Featured Images?

    Can you please confirm?

    Hi Oliver,
    no, I had not selected image captions. I tried ist once before but it didn’t look nice for me.
    Now with your CSS from above, the image caption injection seems not to work.
    But for me this is not a problem.
    Thanks
    Uwe

    Ahah! This has been driving me crazy. Finally isolated the problem to this plugin and your additional CSS did the trick. Would be great if you could add an option in the theme. As with Uwe, I’m not using image caption injection.

    OK, sounds like there’s an issue here for sure. I’ll add it to the “to do” list and let you know as soon as I’ve got a permanent fix.

    Just as an update, we have located the issue and released v1.9.6 today which should fix the issue permanently.
