Featured Image From URL & PeepSo

  • Hello from Canada.

    Working on a community portion for a part of my website. So I decided to go with PeepSo. Before installing that plugin, I was using Featured Image From URL, and loved it!

    However, I was just advised by the team over at PeepSo, that the 2 plugins cannot run together. There’s a conflict which causes PeepSo not to function properly on the user profile side of things.

    When a member creates a “post/update” from their profile, it should load on their page once submitted (similar to status updates on facebook). But it doesn’t happen, the reasoning from the PeepSo tech team is that the Featured Image from URL plugin is causing the load not to happen due to it not being able to recognize the “featured image”, as it’s using the core system’s featured image.

    Really hoping down the road to see the 2 of these working together!! If you need any more information regarding this conflict, let me know and I can elaborate further or allow access on my site to allow you test the functionality.

    I don’t know PeepSo, but please send me the steps to reproduce your issue, WITH SCREENSHOTS, please.

    Once I’m able to simulate the issue on my environment, I can check if there is a solution.
