As you can see in the URL this custom post type does have an archive page, but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere that I can specify a featured image for it. Is this at all possible?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @dumel

I see “No results found” if I go to the page.

In any case. You can add support for featured images in the Pod itself.
How it’s displayed is depenting on your theme.
Keep in mind that archives or taxonomies to not have featured images by default, this will need to be made with custom fields and code.

    Hi Jory

Thanks for checking but when I got no reply I just dumped the idea and disabled archiving on my custom post types. No point in having an archive if you cannot properly style it. You can’t activate support for a featured image on an archive page of a custom post type. You can set it for the custom post type itself yes, but not for the archive page.

    Hi @dumel

Ah right, no you can’t. Honestly, CPT archive pages are quite limited, this is a WordPress core limitation.
There are builders etc. that let you go wild for such pages but other than that you’re only option is to create a custom template in your theme for these archives.

    Cheers, Jory
