Featured Image field missing

Hi all,
I can’t add featured image to Staff Member, because the Featured Image setup field is missing from the right column of the post edit window.
I only have Details, Publish and Departments in the right column, and that’s all.

All screen options on top of this page are checked, but the Featured Image is not listed there at all!What can I do to add this featured image field? Other post types in my theme have it…
