featured image doesnt work

    hello,
    i am currently using tempera as my theme and i have problem with the featured image. i have disabled featured image as header besause i want to see the image under header and menu bar and above the page title.
    Is this possible? or featured image displays only as header?

    Hi!

    The Featured Image’s main purpose is to appear on blog pages together with the excerpt for the post. It doesn’t show in the actual post. You can include it inside a post however just like you’d include any other image.

    Hello!
    Well i didnt want the featured image to appear at the posts, but at the top of the page, no matter how many posts the page included. I did find a way to make it happen by adding at the page.php:

    <?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>
