Featured image does not appear in homepage nor in post

It might be the case if in the Appearance > Header menu you selected “No header image”.

Can you confirm it?

Yes I selected no header.
All I want is to have my blog look like the following, featured image/thumbnail on the left and excerpt on the right.

First I thought you cannot see featured image in the header, because that’s default Tiny Forge behaviour.

Yes Tomas, I’m just wondering why the featured image/thumbnail does not appear in homepage? Cause in twenty-twelve the thumbnail appears in the excerpt. Tiny-forge does not support having thumbnail in homepage?
