• Hi, first off, thanks for the great theme!

I’m having trouble with the featured images. Some times they take the shape of my images, and sometimes they get cropped. I can’t figure out why they work part of the time and why sometimes they are cropped. This only happens on my featured images on my main page. I’ve tried re-sizing my images with no luck. It seems like it was working perfectly up until a week ago, and now I can’t get anything to not-crop. Please help!

  • Hi there! Thanks.

My guess would be that some images were uploaded before you changed theme, and some after. Only those uploaded after will have correct crop size. So you need to run the regenerate thumbnails plugin from the tools menu once in order for all images to be re-cropped properly.

Thanks for your quick reply! Doing what you said, I was able to solve one issue but created another. I changed the limits for the image size, then I ran the plugin to re-generate the thumbnails. That worked to change the size of the thumbnails – however, now my images are all blurry because something is instructing the thumbnails to shrink the images and then blow them up again. I have tried uploading images the exact size of the thumbnail, but it still shrinks them and re-enlarges them. Could you please make a suggestion of how to fix this? I would much appreciate the help. ??

Hello andekate… did you find a solution to this? I have the same problem with the featured image

I have the same problem: images cropped (all of them, featured and also in the posts). What can we do about it? Help please!
