Featured image appears twice in event listing

Please navigate to Events > Settings > Viewing Events and activate “Hide featured image from event details page” option.

Selecting “Hide featured image from event details page” does not hide the featured image. It appears as though it’s supposed to sit to the left of the event details (when, where, cost); however, it sits above, leaving a large empty space instead. It seems that nothing changes whether the box is selected or not.

Can this be remedied?

Can you please provide a link to your calendar page, if the image is above the event description, then this is the image that your WP theme shows, not calendar.
