    Hi,
    great plugin!
I tried really everthing. but the image never appears – neither in an custom post type nor in the standrad wordpress posts.
I also tried to let the plugin create it’s own post type. thats works. The image was included as featured image.
Could it be possible that images could not be uploaded to a featured image because of the language? In german featured images are labeled as “Beitragsbilder” – weird.

Same with taxonomies. But this don’t neither work when the plugin creates it’s own custom post type.

    Wordpress Version: 5.6.2
    PLugin Version: 4.1.12
    Theme: Rife free.

    thx and br
    Sebastian

well, then it would not work with custom posts either, which you say works.

how did you create the custom post? Some plugins such as ACF that create custom posts and fields have their own format for storing fields and this conflicts with the way the Post My CF7 plugin does things (which follows WP stds).

Having said this, it should work with default posts. Can you turn on WP_DEBUG mode to see if you are getting any errors on your server?

    Hi,

thank you for your quick reply.
You are right. ACF could be the problem. The theme (rife free) has the plugin “Apollo13 Framework-Erweiterungen” installed by default. and within this plugin ACF parts are included… damned.

Do you have any idea for a workaround? ??

    thx and br

Do you have any idea for a workaround?

    you have 3 options:

1 – if you are not a programmer, then you need to use the custom post created by the Post My CF7 plugin to post your content

2- if you are a pogrammer or have one on your team, you need to understand how your theme/plugins are storing their post meta fields and featured image, you can then use the action fired as the end of the cf7->post submission process (see the mapping editor page for the action helper code), you then use the action hook to programmatically map/save the form submission as per the format of your theme/plugin setup.

3- Hire a developer to option #2 for you. If you need to hire my services you can reach out to me on “vrata at syllogic dot in”
