Featured image and double images

    Hello

    I had trouble with double images in the excerpts. The main image would sometimes show twice, once as a featured image and once in the excerpt text. So I turned off the featured image in the post list. Problem is, now the main image sometimes doesn’t show at all.

    Our posts always start with an image that is always the featured image, and I’d like to display that at the top of each excerpt, but no other images.

    Is there a way to do this? If not, could I modify the template somehow?
